The American Heart Association (AHA) has an exciting opportunity for a Back To Sports Intern in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX.
Assist with NFL programs, especially the Back to Sports program. Supportive tasks may include but not limited to the following: tracking mini-grant awards, distribution of award materials and assisting athletic trainers directly (e.g., phone/online support). This role also includes involvement in research/evaluation on physical activity/sport safety, assisting with program evaluation and survey distribution, and creation of new materials.
This is a part-time position, for approximately 10 months.

Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in health-related field; preferably Health Promotion, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Athletic Training, or Masters of Public Health
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, with excellent time management skills
Experience with PC office automation tools
