The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst in our National Center office located in Dallas, Texas . In this role, you will gather and document business requirements, technical requirements, and use cases and data conversion requirements while working as a project team member. You will work closely with the Business users, Subject Matter Experts, Technical Lead, Quality Analyst, Architects, and Vendors to analyze and validate requirements. You will also be responsible for developing test plans, user acceptance testing, and user documentation.
Essential Job Duties:
Gather, document, and analyze business data requirements, workflow processes, and process improvements
Translate business requirements to technical requirements in conjunction with technical team
Provide data analysis for integration requirements, reporting needs, and other functions, while maintaining effective communications with supervisor, project managers and team members
Trace requirements to deployed system to ensure all the requirements are met
Create test scripts for functional and user acceptance testing and serve as liaison to business during UAT

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or equivalent experience or education
Minimum 5 (Five) years related business analyst experience
Experience with line of business software concepts and capabilities, including the advanced features of the Microsoft Office Professional Suite
Excellent end-to-end understanding of business processes, organization, and techniques
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and how it can be used to develop business solutions
Advanced competency using Microsoft Visio
Demonstrated competence and success in prior assignments and personal integrity
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Proven track record in fast-paced environment and strong time management skills
