The American Heart Association (AHA) has a great opportunity for Meeting Logistics Coordinator (Temporary) in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX.

As the Meeting Logistics Coordinator you would support the Industry Nutrition Advisory Panel (INAP). Help prepare for face to face meetings, logistics, assist with on-site setup, and wrap up including minutes, expense reports and next steps as related to the meeting and the transition to new model of INAP.

Here are some of the essential job duties:

  • Coordinate travel for volunteers and expenses

  • Prepare meeting materials (agendas, handouts, minutes, summaries, slides, etc.)

  • Serve as resource for meeting attendee questions, requests, etc.

  • Work with AHA meetings department on logistics

  • Support needs of the speakers

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in providing meeting coordinator support

Here are some of the preferred skills we are looking for:

  • Some college preferred

  • AHA meeting planning experience strongly preferred
