We have an exciting opportunity for a Gala / Go Red for Woman Fundraising Director for our Metairie, LA market. Primarily responsible for driving fundraising growth for the annual Heart Ball and Go Red for Woman Luncheon Campaign through executive volunteer recruitment, volunteer management, and cause marketing sponsorship solicitation.

Primary Responsibilities Include :

  • Setting and meeting aggressive fundraising goals

  • Cultivating, recruiting and coaching executive level committee members and volunteers.

  • Cultivating corporate partnerships.

  • Securing corporate sponsorships.

  • Securing individual donations.

  • Cross selling other fundraising campaigns in collaboration with other fundraisers.

  • Developing a pipeline for new volunteers and sponsorships.

  • Securing auction items for night of event and coordinating all details of the campaign

  • Ability to work outside standard hours as needed

  • This is a work from home position

Required Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of prior outside business to business sales and/or professional fundraising experience.

  • Must have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals and expectations.

  • Must have demonstrated success with negotiation and motivation skills.

  • Position requires proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.

  • Daily travel throughout the designated market will be required.

  • Preference will be given to local candidates first.
