The American Heart Association (AHA) has a great opportunity for a Technology Coordinator (Temporary) in our Office of Business Technology to be based in St.Petersburg, FL.
In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and supporting client computing (desk side) and for office-based technology support including but not limited to, notebook computers, mobile devices, printing devices, networked copiers, wireless devices and a variety of accessories and software applications. You will work closely with the Technology Service Desk, specialized internal technical teams and the Manager of Affiliate Technology Services in partnership for excellent service delivery striving to always ensure a high level of customer satisfaction as measured against goaled top box scores. You will also work on special implementation projects within their territory and enterprise projects as assigned.
Here are some of the essential Job duties:
Client computer hardware/software configuration, deployment, management, and support. Troubleshooting after service request escalation from the centralized Technology Service Desk. This includes Windows operating systems, applications and client security software, ensuring efficient technology functions Association wide.
Configure and issue computers for new and existing staff. Provide initial technology training and orientation.
Supporting technology use at AHA events as established by business requirements.
A commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and/or exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; make customer issues a priority.
Participates as team member on technical implementation projects within territory including office moves, closures, and product rollouts.
Influences and builds buy in for enterprise technology and security procedures with AHA Affiliate staff.
Provides credible new approaches to improve efficiency or lower costs of current practices.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent mix of technical school and/or experience is desired.
Minimum two (2) years related experience in IT.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint design, administration and support desired.
Business process consulting skills a plus.
Experience providing remote IT support for multiple sites as well as home-based staff.
Ability to interact and communicate with customers of all levels and clearly exchange ideas, facts and information.
Ability to prioritize workload, multiple projects and keep management informed with limited supervision.
Ability to travel approximately 25% including some nights and weekends as required.
