The American Heart Association is where you can make an extraordinary impact. We are looking for an Administrative Associate-Social Events in our Tulsa, Oklahoma office as a result of a recent promotion.
You may be asking yourself how does an Administrative Associate make an extraordinary impact? Great question! Well, this position will provide administrative support to our Corporate Market Director (which is a fancy name for a fundraiser) who works tirelessly in our communities to raise funds and awareness. Our CMD’s can’t do the vital work they do without the help of a great person, preparing documents and reports, maintaining records and coordinating meetings, plus any other assigned work. This position may also work with our volunteers who help with events throughout the year, so we are looking for a great multi-tasker who can do it all with a great attitude and who likes to work in a busy environment.
Essential Job Duties:
Prepares, interprets, and disseminates information concerning organizational programs and procedures.
Prepares, edits, and distributes correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents.
Participates in the planning and execution of programs.
Develops, coordinates, and maintains record keeping and filing systems for their area of responsibility.
Responds to inquiries regarding rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Coordinates meetings, fundraising events, and stewardship events.
Coordinate work between organizational units of the organization.
Assist in compiling and analyzing data, making calculations, and preparing reports.
Performs related work as assigned.
Knowledge of office management principles and practices and administrative procedures, and promotion of programs.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
At least 1 year office experience.
Must be proficient using Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, Outlook). Will be tested
Ability to lift 20 lbs from ground to waist level with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be at least 18 years old.
