The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for an Associate Data Integration Analyst at our office located in Dallas, TX.
In this role, you will be r esponsible for providing support for enterprise-wide data integration and architecture. Responsible for assuring deliverables of the Data Integration and Management team meet the needs of the business users and the Business Intelligence Steering committee. Also responsible for moving and transforming internal and external data from the application databases - to data stores - to the end user desktop. Responsible for developing, communicating, documenting and maintaining business intelligence guidelines and standards as well as oversight of the proper documentation of systems and processes.
Here are some of the essential job duties:
Provide support for all Data Warehouse integrations and/or services to source data and to Master Data Management (MDM) Platform.
Manage assigned simple projects through the full lifecycle and or be assigned as a key technical resource to AHA projects including and not limited to data integration through provided ETL tools.
Identify, understand and plan for organizational and human impacts of planned systems, and ensure that data requirements are properly integrated.
Provide support in data integration through hands on use of enterprise data warehousing, data management, data modeling, interface, and end user reporting tools.
Define the action items or processes that will solve business requirements.
Perform database querying for testing, analysis and reporting.
Fully accountable for meeting all deliverables as outlined in the data enrichment deliverable schedule provided by the Data Integration Management Manager.
Implement data quality/cleansing processes, business rules and error control/reporting within integrations
Help developers during system development, e.g. provide use cases, flowcharts or even database design.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area
Minimum one year of expertise and hands on experience using Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies that could include ETL, metadata, and middleware tools
Knowledge of SSIS, Informatica ETL, Data Preparation and MDM tools
Thorough knowledge of data integration/business intelligence best practices and standards
Exposure to Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, and XML
Exposure to SQL and Oracle database management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Visio in a Windows XP environment
