Innovation is much more than just brainstorming new ideas, and because of this we are seeking a leader with the skill sets and determination to lead a new revenue generation strategy for the organization focused on gaming and livestream fundraising.
In this role, you will be tasked with starting a new business within the AHA, developing strategies to build to a $50M campaign for the organization. This leader will drive the vision for this new program, lead the development of new ideas then efficiently bring those ideas to market. This will include engaging, stewarding, and growing The American Heart Association, Game with Heart community to support new and existing video game initiatives and partnerships as well as the execution of influencer and community driven charity livestream events and campaigns.
Essential Job Duties:
Identifying and recruiting new members to the Game with Heart community; daily communication with donors and fundraisers through email, social media, and other communications channels; developing a social engagement strategy; stewarding and developing the GwH community members; identifying and implementing new ways to work with the community; speaking from a place of knowledge to groups of fundraisers and donors; and other duties that the support the overall fundraising efforts of the organization. Applicant must be able to think outside the box and work on multiple projects simultaneously. This leader will be a member of our national Field Development team and work collaboratively with their teammates to develop and support the overall digital engagement strategy in support of AHA’s revenue goals.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
At least two (2) years of related experience
Significant knowledge of fundraising and business development
Digital and social media strategy experience
Strong understanding and passion for the gaming and livestreaming community, including either experience as a content creator or working with content creators.
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking skills.
An independent drive to succeed.
Experience running a gaming social community, current associations with the gaming community and developers
Strong knowledge base on major livestream platforms (Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Facebook Gaming, ect.) OBS and Discord
Innovative spirit with the ability to multi-task
