The American Heart Association has a great opportunity for a Part-time Internship in our National Center office . The location for this position is flexible and remote .
This internship will focus on supporting the National Hypertension Control Initiatives Clinical Team with program support, administrative and organizational duties. We will gladly work with your schedule, but we are expecting this person to work approx. 20 hours each week. This duration of this internship is 1/2023-5/2023.

Currently pursuing a BA/BS or higher in Public Health, Health Science, Biology, General Science or Healthcare Administration.
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to review documents.
Self-starter with good organizational skills, effective communication skills and experience with research design.
Here are some of the preferred skills we are looking for:
Basic American Heart Association knowledge
Prior experience in university data analysis and team-centered projects.
Understanding of health disparity and health equity, public health, community health centers, community-based organizations,
