The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Sr. Fundraising Systems Lead, School Engagement in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX.

This strategic leader responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of the product technology platforms for School Engagement, You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate, develop, and launch digital experiences that cross multiple platforms and teams that align with the company's goals and market needs. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our product technology, constituent engagement and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to X% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and communicate the technology and digital communications product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the company's overall business objectives for each campaign.

  • Work with all teams to determine if request can be added to any other programs, or if it’s an enhancement if it’s needed elsewhere.

Product Planning and Roadmapping:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, engineering, design, marketing, and field staff, to create and prioritize product technology and digital communications roadmaps.

  • Ensure designs incorporate Voice of Customer (VoX) and ensure testing with customers is incorporated

Product Development and Launch:

  • Coordinate with the Development and Technology teams to monitor the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring products are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful product development, quality assurance, and timely release.

  • Act as liaison to Center for Development Operations (COO team to build out plans for data integration across systems and make adjustments as needed.

  • Coordinate with development, technology, operations and support to ensure successful launches.

  • Collaborate on budget needs with Project and Program managers

  • Work with the development team on roll out plan, usually serving as the lead presenter

Customer Focus and Relationship Building:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points through direct interactions, feedback analysis, and market insights.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to gather input and validate product direction.

  • Host weekly national calls for regional technical leads to discuss current technology rollouts, challenges and needs

  • Host bi weekly national technology calls for support staff from all regions to provide technology updates and address questions and challenges

  • Host monthly national calls for school engagement managers that are in charge of sending market level emails (outside of the journeys) so they can stay connected and ensure they have the resources they need

  • Act as direct contact to region staff related to campaign technology

  • Attend weekly calls with BT partners for delivery updates

  • Attend any vendor calls as projects are in progress

Performance Tracking and Analytics:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and monitor product performance post-launch.

  • Regularly analyze data and user feedback to iterate on product features and optimize user experience.

  • Seasonally evaluation impact of new feature launches on business outcomes

  • Conduct internal and external interviews to collect feedback on all large technology projects to ensure design performs as intended

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster transparent communication across departments, ensuring a shared understanding of product strategies, goals, and updates.

  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to present product plans, status updates, and recommendations.

  • Develop compelling visual communications to help foster clarity and collaboration.

Qualifications

Five(5) years of the following experience:

  • Years of progressive experience in product management. Including proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and customers.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics to drive product decisions.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools ie Jira, Product Board, Figma

Preferred:

  • Industry knowledge and experience in non profits

  • Knowledge of CRM, marketing automation tools, ie Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
