The American Heart Association has a superb opportunity for a Sr. Professional Education Consultant at our office located in Dallas, TX. This position can be home based.
The Sr. Professional Education Consultant role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the American Heart Association's Training Network and healthcare learning programs. This position involves providing expertise and support for Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) training and products, impacting millions of healthcare providers and instructors annually. You will play a crucial role in responding to inquiries, advising on policies, and mentoring the Training Network. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of educational materials and communications for Training Centers. This role also includes planning, delivering, and evaluating ECC instructor courses, as well as representing ECC Programs and the Healthcare Business Solutions (HBS) team at conferences and trade shows.

Responsibilities
Provides timely responses for questions related to ECC training and programs received through the ECC Training Inbox email account. Develops systems for effective and efficient management of the inbox
Builds positive relationships with field staff and American Heart Association Training Centers.
Develops content for Training Center Communications (TCC) such as the Program Administration Manual, training memos and bulletins, and interim training materials
Plans, develops, delivers, and evaluates ECC instructor courses
Participates on the Instructor Network technology team
Maintains clinical equipment inventory used for course pilot testing and video shoots
Represents ECC Programs and HBS team at in-person or virtual conferences and trade shows. Assists with booth setup
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Five (5) to Eight (8) years American Heart Association Training Network experience, including significant understanding of ECC programs and American Heart Association Training Center policies and procedures
Experience with planning, development, and implementation of educational programs
Ability to plan and supervise projects from inception through completion; skill in leading multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Ability to provide timely and effective information, including proactive communication on opportunities and issues
Ability to quickly research and capture information from multiple parties to provide concise, accurate, and diplomatic responses to internal and external customers
Current American Heart Association Instructor status, or higher status in our Training Network
Current healthcare license (eg, nursing, EMS); must maintain license
Ability to travel up to 20% local and overnight stay
Preferred Experience:
Experience as American Heart Association Faculty or TCC
Customer support experience
Advanced training in instructional design
