American Heart Association Development Director in Fort Worth, Texas

We have an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Development Director- Go Red For Women in our Fort Worth, TX office. The selected candidate will have fundraising responsibilities for the Tarrant County Go Red for Women campaign by bringing together corporate partners, medical leaders, community leaders, and volunteers of the community to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke, the #1 and #5 killer in America. If you have a strong fundraising or sales background where you traveled in an assigned territory OR if you have an event coordination background coupled with sales or fundraising we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Mobilizing CEO’s, President's and upper-level executives in the Tarrant County area to build an effective Executive Leadership Team to raise funds for the Go Red for Women campaign.

  • Developing pipelines of top businesses within the assigned geographic area to ensure revenue generation through corporate sponsorship for the Go Red for Women

  • Conductingsales calls to generate new business and manage existing corporate sponsors.

  • Developing and monitoring an annual working plan with dollar and volunteer recruitment goals, budget and timelines for the events. Track, report and maintain results of this plan using a variety of database and campaign management systems.

  • Leading cultivation opportunities to strengthen relationships with volunteers, sponsors & key corporate & community leaders to advance our mission.

  • Manage up to 10 nominees through our Woman of Impact peer to peer fundraising campaign

  • Expandingour reach into the philanthropic community of individuals participating in our Circle of Red, Cor Vitae Society or Open Your Heart campaigns to raise funds and awareness.

  • Mobilize and manage volunteers of the Passion committee to secure auction items, media and publicity opportunities, and community impact events

  • Manage event logistics for the annual Go Red for Women luncheon, Hats for Heart Tea and Fashion Show, and ancillary events like STEM Goes Red one day field trip, Wear Red day, Scrubs Day hospital tour, etc.

  • Networkingwithin the local area and recruiting and retaining our valued volunteers.

  • All other duties as assigned.
