The American Heart Association has been notified of fraudulent employment solicitation and offers being made via email, phone, text or thru social media and otherwise, to prospective candidates. These fraudulent person(s) and offers instruct prospective candidates to provide personal information, and/or to pay an application and processing fee in an attempt to get your private information.

In some instances, they may send you a check, asking you to cash the check and wire money back to them. Other times they are asking for personal information such as your social security number.
