We're hiring a Development Director based in Cheyenne, WY. This role will lead our mission-driven and revenue-generating efforts to improve cardiovascular health across communities throughout Wyoming.
This position carries an annual revenue responsibility of $400,000 to $625,000, generated through multiple streams including new business development and leadership gifts. The health impact priorities include hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, nutrition, obesity, and physical activity.
We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities
The Development Director will devise and implement the strategy and direction for the state’s unified health and revenue efforts. This includes building powerful partnerships with volunteers, community and corporate leaders, sponsors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Additional duties include:
Developing and supporting community-wide strategies to support the creation of a culture of health in the state.
Driving the execution of health impact and fundraising goals.
Supporting the achievement of the unrestricted field campaign goal through health asset sponsorships/activations and other means.
Maintaining and tracking all related health and fundraising data.
Coordinating, planning, and implementing activities and resources necessary to achieve campaign goals and fundraising objectives in the assigned territory.
Driving market health assessments, organizing and/or leading community collaborations, building and implementing plans for policy, system, and environmental change.
Building and implementing a cross-functional hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol control strategy with measurable outcomes (high blood pressure management, cholesterol, diabetes management, and healthy behavior initiatives.
Collaborating with community partners and volunteers to identify, cultivate, and secure program funding, including sponsorship (cash and in-kind) for relevant programs, campaigns, and population health impact opportunities.
Recruiting, training and managing volunteers and strategic community alliances to achieve priority community and collective impact goals.
Working with healthcare providers to ensure best practices for treatment of patients through initiatives and programs.
Consulting with clinical staff for data entry, data reporting, compliance issues, and strategies for improved patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or other related experience
Knowledge of the social determinants of health (SDOH) related to behavior modification through self-care activities and policy/system-wide changes preferred
Ability to travel daily within the state of Wyoming, approximately 75% of the time; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis
Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components, or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving
Must have at least basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office
