American Heart Association Creative Manager in Dallas, Texas

The American Heart Association is seeking a skilled Creative Manager to drive the strategy, management, and expansion of marketing efforts across a range of healthcare Quality Improvement programs. As an individual contributor, you will lead the graphic design initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, support in executing marketing plans, and lead all aspects of in-house graphic design while ensuring adherence branding guidelines within the Quality, Outcomes Research & Analytics (QORA) department.

This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on June 30, 2025, with the potential of extension. This position can be home based.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of QORA department marketing plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and consistency among all QORA programs

  • Act as a primary liaison to all departments and external vendors as needed to ensure that all projects remain on schedule to meet deadlines

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on developing and implementing campaigns, campaign materials and promotions, overseeing the execution of marketing activities, while developing and implementing various strategies for retention and growth purposes

  • Develop periodic reports and postmortem campaign reports delivered to sponsors and other stakeholders, to measure the effectiveness of, and customer satisfaction with products

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Three (3) – Five (5) years of experience incorporating marketing graphic design strategies, account management and/or communication experience

  • Excellent computer skills including experience in Microsoft 365 and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Possession of creative flair, conceptual/visual ability, and originality

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present confidently in front of C-suite executives and volunteers, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to lead multiple projects by managing time effectively, prioritizing work assignments, being flexible to changing requests and ensuring deadlines are being met

  • Minimum travel availability needed, up to 5%

Preferred Experience:

  • Marketing experience includes familiarity with email marketing, social media, webpage development, search engine optimization (SEO), paid promotion, and tradeshow management.

  • Video production experience

  • Product/Brand Management experience

  • Budget Oversight

  • Agency Experience

  • Experience in trademark management and organization

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay range will be $70,000 to $90,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
