American Heart Association Program Implementation Manager, CERP in Dallas, Texas

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Program Implementation Manager based out of our National Center office. This position can be home based.

This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of Cardiac Emergency Response Plans (CERP) aimed at increasing prompt intervention and doubling survival rates from cardiac arrest. Responsible for communicating program status, and delivering requirements within budget, scope, and timeline. This position will work closely with several different departments within the national and regional offices to ensure success. Responsible for developing key internal and external relationships in a variety of sectors, such as: schools, communities, and youth sports organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in management of budgets, timelines, activity plans and communication with team members and stakeholders. Serve as the point person for ongoing resources needed by schools, communities, organizations, etc.

  • Develop program implementation strategies in alignment with initiative objectives. Develop tools and resources in collaboration with staff partners and establish a sustainability plan for all components of CERP implementation.

  • Work to implement systematic efforts to address barriers to CERP adoption. Continually analyze and evaluate next steps and market needs.

  • Communicate regularly with Sr. Program Implementation Lead, to ensure tasks are completed. Work with cross-functional teams to build buy-in and ensure deliverables are met.

  • Perform other duties as needed to achieve department and association-wide goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Two (2) – Five (5) years of relevant experience

  • Project management skills and experience influencing performance without direct line accountability

  • Ability to quickly adapt to multiple priorities and to function independently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills

  • Comprehensive Microsoft Office suite skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to work collaboratively and to maintain a professional manner in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred experience:

  • Knowledge of CPR and Hands-Only CPR training options

  • Knowledge of the American Heart Association’s mission and initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay range will be $50,000 to $70,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
