American Heart Association Sr. Project Coordinator in Dallas, Texas

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for Sr. Project Coordinator in our National Center office located in Dallas, Texas .

The Sr. Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing coordination and administrative support for assigned department or project. They will be responsible for preparing and distributing communications, scheduling, volunteer responsibilities and other organizing efforts based on project assignments. Also, they will be responsible for operational budget and expense processing, record keeping or other administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provides execution support for the Presidential and Opening Sessions at Flagship Conferences

  • Supports the Science Awards process for the Presidential and Opening Sessions at Flagship Conferences

  • Project manages the weekly revenue reporting process, including coordinating regular leadership reports for select meetings.

  • Supports the overall annual budget process for the Scientific Meetings and Program Development team.

  • Assembles regular budget projection/variance reports for the Scientific Meetings and Programs team

  • Assists in financial and contract management through contract submission/routing, work order management, and invoice processing

  • Monitors project timelines while optimally presenting project needs and related information as required

  • Communicate with team to prioritize and handle assigned projects/events. May coordinate staff, volunteers vendors, etc. to support assigned projects. May support on-site set-up and logistics for meetings.

  • Use vendor and/or American Heart Association systems (e.g. E1, COI, Seibel, Oasis, etc.) efficiently and competently to complete duties/projects.

  • Provides coworkers, volunteers, and vendors with excellent customer service responding to requests in a timely manner and adhering to deadlines as appropriate.

  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the job level and family.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years meaningful work experience.

  • Some job areas may require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

  • Requires operational knowledge of systems and procedures.
